Established in 1993, Glenmarie Golf & Country Club has made gigantic strides  to become one of the top golf clubs in Malaysia . The reasons are obvious as Glenmarie's crown consists of many jewels with the most caratage and sparkle .

Both courses uses Bermuda Tifway 419 on the fairways while the greens are Bermuda Tifdwarf . Both buggy courses are designed by American Max Wexler and sculpted according to their natural topography .

Glenmarie has earned its reputation for its immaculate maintenance as its owner the DRB- HICOM Group , have spared no expense to ensure that the best and most up- to-date machinery are used . The field staff are constantly coming up with ideas to improve and upgrade both courses . Glenmarie's drainage system is so advanced , play can resume minutes after a heavy downpour .

Glenmarie's golfing hours do not stop at dusk - captains of industry , busy business executives and those who prefer play after hours can indulge in night  golf at the Garden Course . What's more , for those who prefer to perfect their skills ,there is a driving range and practice greens . A well-stocked pro-shop managed by MST GOLF is situated in the clubhouse complex.

Aside from golf , Glenmarie offers a range of sports and recreational pursuits including an Olympic - size and children's  swimming pools , indoor and outdoor tennis , squash , multi-pupose hall, snooker , video games , card room , children's play and reading room , tv room , children's playground  and a gym .

Glenmarie hosted  its first - ever international golf tournament , the Kosaido Malaysian Ladies' Open in 1997, 1998 and 1999  which the auspicious event  featured  world - class field of  professional lady golfers. 

The Club had the honour of our former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad to officially open on January 29th 1994 .
